Congratulations to junior Nicca Lattuca who is the Class AA, Section V Champion for the long jump. Nicca earned this honor with a jump of 17 feet, ¾ inches and this is a great achievement based on the depth and skill of the athletes throughout this region.
Please join me in congratulating our two Faculty Members of the Year, Kim McLean and Ben Osborne, and Staff Member of the Year, Linda Pelin. These three individuals along with our entire staff make Spencerport an amazing school and there is no question that our students are the beneficiary of the support and assistance that you provide them on a daily basis. Thank you for all that you do!

School Board to meet Aug. 3
The Spencerport Board of Education has changed its next meeting to Tuesday, August 3, at 7 p.m., in the District Office building, 71 Lyell Ave.
An agenda for this meeting will be posted shortly, and will likely include the board vote on the district tax rate....
Reminder: recertification dates
Any student-athlete interested in participating in a fall sport must be recertified by the school nurse prior to the start of practice/try-out.

Latest update from Relay for Life
The latest update from the Westside Relay for Life reports that the June 4 event raised about $80,000 for the American Cancer Society.
More than 50 teams and 700 participants from the communities of Western Monroe County and the Spencerport Central School District participated in the Westside Relay for Life of Spencerport.
