Student Registration 

Registration procedures for new students

Families are enrolled into our schools starting with the Central Registrar. To begin the registration process, please download all the PDF files found below. When you have completed all the forms, parent(s) are asked to call and schedule a brief registration appointment at District Office with the Central Registrar, Kathleen Rodriguez. Mrs. Rodriguez can be reached at 585-349-5114. The office hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. No walk-ins, please. 

At the time of the appointment, parents/guardians will be asked to provide:

1. Proof of Age and Name
2. Immunization records
3. Health records
4. Verification of residency
5. Student’s last report card
6. Copy of your student's IEP or 504 Plan if applicable. 

For more information on documents needed for proof of student’s age, name and for verification of residency, please download the district’s student registration packet or contact the registrar.

Following the initial registration meeting to determine residency, an appointment will be made with you by the building that your student will attend. This second appointment is required to complete the registration process.

Kindergarten Registration

KINDERGARTEN registration begins in January of each year for children who will be five years of age on or before December 1. The kindergarten registration process is administered by the individual elementary school. Please contact the elementary school appropriate to your address for further information. If you do not know which school to contact, you can call Kathleen Rodriguez, central registrar, at 585-349-5114, or email her at krodriguez@spencerportschools.org
