SUNY plans financial aid day
SUNY is offering a Statewide Student Financial Aid Day: February 27. Prospective students and families will receive assistance from SUNY financial aid professionals in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Many host campuses will provide access to the online FAFSA.
This workshop is offered free of charge and is available at many different campus locations. Visit this link to see a list of all participating campuses. Students and families should attend the program that is most convenient.

Come help celebrate the end of our Big Read Journey! There is no charge for this event!
Please RSVP by Feb. 17 to this event in order to help us with planning. Return the slip under related files below or e-mail Lanette Cypher with the number of adults and number of children. *Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.We hope you will embrace The Big Read and join us in reading Call of the Wild as a family. Congratulations to Stacey Shortino on the birth of her daughter, Maya Anastasia, who was born on January 31, weighing 6 pounds, 3 ounces and 20 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing well and our congratulations go out to Stacey and her family. As a result, please join me in welcoming Anna Murrer to our school, as she is currently serving as Stacey’s long-term sub. Anna has her Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Brockport. She also works at The Center for Youth Services in Rochester. Finally, we would also like to welcome Angela Wedgwood to our building and she is our long-term sub for Wendy Grace. Angela has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education. Previously, she taught in the Rochester City School District. Making College and Career Count Presentation: from the Counseling Office On Tuesday, February 23, during an extended Advisement (from 8:50-9:30 a.m.), our juniors will be attending a presentation from making It Count in the PAC. This program provides juniors with critical information on how to successfully begin the college search process. On Wednesday, February 24, during an extended Advisement (from 8:50-9:30 a.m.), our seniors will be attending a presentation from Making It Count in the PAC. This program provides seniors with critical information on how to successfully navigate the transition from high school to the college or career of their choice. Please let your students know that they cannot travel on this day and appreciate your support in this important meeting. PBIS Assembly and Early Dismissal: On Friday, February 12th (A Day) we will have a PBIS activity 4th block as well as early dismissal from school (to accommodate a state mandated evacuation drill).
