Would your family benefit from a monthly Parent Support Group focusing on the challenges of having a strong-willed son or daughter?
The Spencerport Schools’ Family Support Center is organizing such a group. Parents can benefit from monthly support meetings, informal discussion and suggestions.

Clapper wins golf tournament
Chris Clapper, a Spencerport senior and member of varsity member of the golf tournament, won the 28th Community Bank/George Douglas Invitational Golf Tournament on May 4. He shot a 73 at the Corning Country Club, the site of the LPGA Corning Classic.
With his victory, Clapper qualifies for the Super Shootout on Tuesday of the LPGA Corning Classic Tournament. The Super Shootout will pair Clapper with a past LPGA CC champion in a five-event skills contest on the 18th hole.

Budget hearing, candidates' night on May 13
A public hearing on the proposed 2008-09 school budget will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. in Room 15/17 of the administration building, 71 Lyell Ave.
Interim Superintendent Phill Langton and Assistant Superintendent for Business Alan Getter will present information on the proposed $66.3 million budget proposal and the proposition to purchase four school buses. The public will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
