New principal of Taylor

New principal of Taylor Elementary School appointed

The Spencerport Board of Education has appointed Telcie Pincelli as the new principal at Taylor Elementary School, effective July 1. Mrs. Pincelli fills the leadership position, following the retirement of Dr. Monica Macaluso.

Pincelli has served this year as the assistant principal of Cosgrove Middle School, and previously from 2015-2018, worked as a district K-5 instructional specialist, providing professional development and instructional support to our faculty. Pincelli first joined the Spencerport School District in 2006, as an elementary classroom teacher (2006-2015).

Superintendent Dan Milgate described Pincelli as collaborative, caring, and committed to working with staff, students and parents.

“Mrs. Pincelli will be a great match for Taylor Elementary School,” Milgate said. “She demonstrates many of the qualities that staff and parents asked for in their next principal - qualities such as being collaborative, knowledgeable, personable, kind, approachable, and student-oriented. Mrs. Pincelli certainly has all those qualities, along with proven leadership skills.”

Mrs. Pincelli earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wright State University; Master of Education from Roberts Wesleyan College; and her certificate of advanced study in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport.
