Safety & Security

Safety and Security

The focus on health and safety is ongoing, as we build layers of security and enhancements into our schools and buildings. To date, our security program consists of:
  • leadership of a new security director
  • additional security personnel, including a safety coordinator
  • a health and safety committee
  • district-level and building-level threat assessment teams
  • the safe school helpline
  • our partnership with the Ogden Police Department
  • the Raptor system to scan visitor identification
  • video cameras and equipment
  • emergency preparedness drills
  • services through the Family Support Center
  • staff trainings
  • capital improvements, such as secured vestibules in each building

Our security office may be reached at 585-349-5197.
