Why serve on the Board? I am a firm believer that schools are the heart of a community and by building a supporting and high functioning school system, the community will thrive. Serving as a school board member is one of the best ways to help achieve that goal.

What are the top issues facing our schools? Effective budgeting to ensure a high functioning district has always been very important to our school system, but with the new challenges of COVID-19, this will be one of the most challenging issues in school history.

What would you like people to know about you? I served my first year on the Board of Education in 2016 as a result of a special election and was re-elected for full 3-year term in 2017. I have been honored to serve the community on the Board of Education and have learned a great deal in the process. As a Spencerport alumni, I take a special pride in serving.
