Budget calendar 2023-24

Budget development calendar for 2023-24

The process to develop the school budget for the following year begins annually in October with the approval of the budget calendar, goals and guidelines. The remaining timeline may be found below.

It is important to note that in the months of December and January, each department and school submits a budget for review with the district’s cabinet, which is made up of the superintendent, assistant superintendent of instruction, assistant superintendent for human resources, and assistant superintendent of business. After this initial review with each principal or director, the proposals are submitted to the assistant superintendent for business for further development with the Budget Focus Group and Board of Education.
