Interim Superintendent announced

The Board of Education appointed Dr. Pamela Kissel, former Churchville-Chili School District Superintendent, to serve as the interim superintendent, beginning Jan. 5, 2021.

On behalf of the board, President Kevin Hutton said, “We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kissel to the Spencerport team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we believe she is the right fit to lead our district in the coming months as the interim superintendent.”

Since retiring from CCSD in 2014, Kissel has served as an interim leader for the Young Women’s College Prep Charter School and the Rochester City School District. In addition, she is a visiting professor/adjunct professor for the Educational Leadership Department Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester; leadership coach for the Institute for Student Achievement; and facilitator of the Rochester Urban Certification Program.
