Maple Sugarfest is back!

Maple Sugarfest is back, March 2
Join us for the 2024 Maple Sugarfest, on Saturday, Mar. 2, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Last held in 2020, t
he event is hosted by the Spencerport Nature Center Committee and includes a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities such as: a pancake breakfast, free crafts and activities for children, create-your-own bird feeder, geocaching, nature-touch table, sap boiling and tree-tapping demonstrations, and much more!

The pancake breakfast runs from 9 -10:30 a.m. at the high school’s east cafeteria. Cost of the breakfast will be $7 per person and free for children 5 and under. Tickets will be sold at the door and donations are welcomed. Real maple syrup will be available as long as supplies last.

Proceeds from the pancake breakfast, along with donations, fund the Nature Center’s DEC Summer Camp Scholarship program and the instructional pavilion. Since we first started to offer the scholarship in 2015, we have funded 10 Spencerport CSD students to attend these camps.
