Part-time TIES coordinator wanted

The Spencerport Central School District is pleased to announce a new opportunity in our school district called TIES (Together Including Every Student). TIES is a program which promotes the participation of children/young adults who have developmental disabilities in extracurricular and community activities by providing effective support with trained peer volunteers.
The first step in bringing TIES to Spencerport is hiring a part-time TIES Coordinator.
The TIES Coordinator is selected by the school district and TIES Senior Manager. The coordinator is responsible for:
• Marketing TIES in the school and community.
• Recruiting participants and peer volunteers.
• Training peer volunteers and activity leaders through the training workshop.
• Developing a support plan for each participant and sharing it with the peer volunteer.
• Evaluating the experiences of the participants, peer volunteers and activity leaders.
