HS Assistant Principal appointed as new Director of Student Information Services

During its meeting on May 7, the Spencerport Board of Education approved the appointment of Tim O’Connor as the new director of Student Information Services. O’Connor will officially start his new position on July 1, following the retirement of current coordinator, Linda Howell.
This leadership position oversees several areas related to student information, including assessments, registration, attendance, positive behavior intervention (PBIS), and the tutoring center. The transition from coordinator to director also provides the opportunity to expand our efforts and this role to include student safety, wellness and social-emotional health.
“Spencerport is a special place and I feel very fortunate to be taking on this role with the district,” O’Connor said. “I look forward to working with our learning community in this capacity and remain committed to supporting our wonderful students, parents, and staff members in this new position.”
Superintendent of Schools Dan Milgate said, “This is a critical position in our district, as it focuses on students. Under Mr. O’Connor’s leadership, we will continue to support and service the needs of our students. He has a proven track record at leading student programs and will continue this important work in his new role."
