Guidelines For Virtual Backpack Posting

Application Procedure and Guidelines for e-flyer distribution

Submit a PDF copy of the flyer to cbowerman@spencerportschools.org or Virtual Backpack Coordinator.

  • Flyers must be submitted by the person running the event (coach/musical director), administrative assistant or PTA chairperson.
  • Flyer must be submitted at least 2 weeks before your event date.
  • Flyers will not be posted earlier than 3 weeks prior to event.
  • Flyers are only posted for non-profit companies or organizations.
  • If your event is canceled you agree to notify the virtual backpack coordinator. We reserve the right to post the cancellation through our website.
  • Each Flyer must include the following:
    • Name of contact person
    • Name and phone number of the organization
    • “The Spencerport Central School District neither sponsors nor endorses this event, the information stated above and the District assumes no responsibility for it” – center at bottom of page in smaller font size.
  • Flyers that are in conflict with district-sponsored programs will not be approved.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue or retract any e-flyer posting.
  • Please contact our Community Programs department for additional information and to have your flyer posted.
