K-5 Summer Learning
This web page has been created to provide optional at-home learning activities during the summer
for students entering grades Kindergarten through grade 5
. You can use the sub-pages on the left to find the appropriate grade-level resources for your child.
Additionally, our K-5 Librarians have put together a fantastic resource for accessing digital reading material, read alouds, websites, and programs for our Elementary Students. Click
here
to access. On this page, you will also see a tab for
Summer Reading
. Suggestions for titles are broken down by grade level, and many titles have a direct link to a digital copy of the book. Watch
this short video
on how to access the suggested books.
To find a variety of learning opportunities for all grade levels, we encourage students to access the
District's Intranet
homepage. There are a variety of resources from which your child can choose. Descriptions of available programs and passwords can be found
here
. You can access the Intranet by following the directions below. The programs with which your child is familiar (for example: IXL, iReady, Wixie, Book Creator) are still available for their use over the summer.
