   Get to know our superintendent   

Mrs. Kristin Swann has been Superintendent of the Spencerport Central School District since July 1, 2021. Kristin began her career as a school psychologist in the Niagara Falls City School District before becoming a coordinator of special education in the Greece Central School District. Prior to Spencerport, Kristin served as the assistant superintendent for educational services in Victor for 14 years.

Kristin is a graduate of Nazareth College where she earned an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in school psychology. She also has earned a certificate of advanced study in school administration from the University of Rochester.

Kristin previously served as a member of the Wayne-Finger Lakes Instructional Council, Board of Directors of the Victor Chamber of Commerce, and volunteer at her local parish. She is currently a member of the Spencerport Rotary, Spencerport Educational Foundation, and a member of several local educational committees. She has had the pleasure of presenting at leadership conferences organized Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and is a current member of the New York State Council of School Superintendents, American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and Monroe County Council of School Superintendents.

Kristin is originally from the Niagara Falls area and settled in Rochester with her family over 30 years ago. She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and connecting with family. To contact Kristin, please call 585-349-5102.
